Chanel Spotlight: Metiers d'art
Chanel's Metiers d'art Show -
Guests were absolutely stunned with visions of deep and dramatic Indian-inspired scenes; a delightful and decadent sensory overload of culture meeting high fashion. Sophisticated and alluring spins of Parisian interpretations of classic Indian threads, this was a night to surely be recounted for years to come. Even the set was brilliantly thought out and designed not missing a single detail. A fun pairing of silk saris and tweed, rich blacks and pops of pink here and there graced the catwalk - accessories were incorporated into many of the pieces - small purses with texture and ironic shape - but rightfully so. Strings of pearls were seen being worn as belts and the traditional headpieces are worn.
The catwalk was quite beautiful - very white with long and elegant banquet tables lining each runway; beautifully lit and eloquent.
The makeup was impeccable as one would suspect, after all we are talking CHANEL. Beautiful black shadows and deep cat eyes - nothing less than perfect. Skin was natural, matte, and natural lips.
This was defiantly a show to remember.

NAKED 2
December 1st BIG NEWS is coming...as if the first Naked Palette isn't amazing enough, Urban Decay is doing it again. I can only speculate on it for now, but I will be keeping you up to date with minute by minute news! Im hoping to see a nice even mixture of matts & shimmers in the second generation palette - not because I adore matts (you ladies KNOW I love my shimmer!), but because the main issue I found when reviewing The Naked Palette is the fact that it wasn't truly universal - People with hooded eyes, mature skin, or those who can't really wear shimmer at work or school couldn't fully enjoy this palette. Maybe even 4 matts would be brilliant in N2.
Along with The Naked Palette becoming an enormous cult favorite among MUAs and Beauty Lovers alike, Urban Decay has dedicated an entire link to the Nakedness boasting lip colors and even the Midnight Emergency Kit. I see no issue with this - I love how UD takes on the hum drum of neutrals and turns them NaKeD!
So what are YOU hoping to see in the Naked 2? Leave a comment!

NEW GIVEAWAY- This one you'll love!
Recently I was granted the opportunity the review a pair of earrings from a wonderful Etsy Shop & Owner located in Poland, MMAGDA. She makes the most adorable miniature, polymer clay dessert replica jewelry. When I saw her creations, I was stunned - the detail work is over the top intricate! From dazzling donuts with delicate sprinkles to insatiable ice cream cone earrings - your sweet tooth will be begging for more!
I was sent the Blue Cupcake Post Earrings to review and to keep - I was so happy with this set of earrings - hypoallergenic, not once did I feel them on my lobes. The posts did not turn my lobes green or make my ears itch; they absolutely were a joy to wear from morning into the late evening hours - I actually forgot that they were on my ears and went to bed with them on!
Her selection doesn't stop at cupcakes - she has the most delectable macaroon earrings, chocolate chip mint ice cream cone earrings, cupcake rings with different colored "cups", necklaces with donuts dangling from the silver chains...it's as if you walk into a virtual sweets shop!
Her pricing is very reasonable as well - the pair of earrings she sent me retail in her Etsy shop for $9.50 USD - the higher end price cuts off at $12.00 USD.
Shipping - I was quite happy with the amount of time it took from the date she shipped to the arrival date 0 less than 14 days coming from Poland to Seattle, Washington. Talk about fast service!
Shipping is $2.00 if you live in Poland and $4.00 anywhere else in the world.
I am currently hosting a Giveaway for one (1) lucky winner to get the chance to pick out ANY ONE ITEM from her Etsy shop!! And its a super easy giveaway - COMMENT ONLY!
